NEEF's Business and Environment Program has helped companies integrate employee education and engagement to align sustainability goals and day-to-day operations, while also improving their bottom line. Through its Business Sustainability Educational Roundtable, NEEF has engaged leading companies, including Kimberly-Clark, Johnson & Johnson, Intel and others, representing four million employees to share and develop best practices on employee engagement.
The third edition of the Greenbiz Group Employee Engagement survey has been released. The survey, which began in 2008 in partnership with NEEF, examines corporate environmental and sustainability education initiatives. In the most recent survey results, 73 percent of respondents indicated that their company is educating employees about its corporate sustainability goals.
"Toward Engagement 2.0: Creating a More Sustainable Company through Employee Engagement," was released jointly by NEEF and GreenBiz Group in September 2011, and saw advances in environmental and sustainability employee education—a culture of sustainability taking root in leading companies.
