Professional Development Grant Competition

High School Environmental Education

These $1,600 grants cover two online courses to create a strong foundation in environmental education.  Courses are through the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point and Environmental Education and Training Partnership (EETAP).  

Appropriate for teachers of all subject areas, the online courses allow teachers to integrate local knowledge of their own community. Teachers receiving the grant should anticipate 10-15 hours of coursework each week.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applications must:

  • Teach 9th-12th grades in a U.S. public or private school;
  • Have at least two years of teaching experience;
  • Not be serving as advisors to NEEF.
