Head of STEM Education for the Siemens Foundation Continues NEEF Board Tenure

The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) is pleased to announce that Jeniffer Harper-Taylor will continue her tenure on its Board of Directors for another four-year term. Harper-Taylor is the head of STEM education for the Siemens Foundation, which advances workforce development and education initiatives in science, engineering technology and math.

NEEF and Toyota Award 2019 Biodiversity Conservation Grant


The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) is proud to announce the National Capital Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (PRISM) as a recipient of the 2019 Biodiversity Conservation Grant.  With major support from Toyota Motor North America, the Biodiversity Conservation Grant provides $200,000 in grant funding to support PRISM’s biodiversity conservation projects on America’s public lands.

National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the largest single-day volunteer effort for America’s public lands. Each year, volunteers of all ages and abilities work with land managers to complete service projects like building trails, planting native and removing invasive species, and collecting trash. Through these projects, volunteers learn more about public lands and the environmental, economic, and health benefits they provide.

NEEF’s 25th National Public Lands Day Spurs Year-Round Stewardship

On Saturday, September 22, volunteers pitched in on public lands throughout the country and at sites in all 50 states as part of the 25th annual National Public Lands Day (NPLD). Organized each year by the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), National Public Lands Day promotes the connection between people and the environment by inviting everyone to get outside.
