NEEFcast Episode 1: Life-long Learning

In the inaugural episode of NEEF's new education podcast, we'll take a look at the big picture, sharing how NEEF looks to connect people to environmental knowledge and talking with educators in the field to learn what benefits they have seen in their EE activities. Hear from Diane Wood, President of NEEF, about NEEF's work and how she first took interest in the field. Then, Jennifer Ramsey, a teacher from KIPP DC Heights Academy, and Beth Hughes, a teacher from Landon School, talk about how they celebrated National Environmental Education Week 2016 and what they hope their students learned from the experience. At the end of the episode, Nick Bradford, Researcher at NEEF, shares some of the research explaining why EE fits well with a number of different learning styles.
