Tuolumne Wild & Scenic River: Meral's Pool Raft and Kayak Launch Repairs

We will meet at 7.30 am for coffee at the Groveland Ranger Station, 8 miles east of Groveland on Highway 120 and will carpool at 8:00 am from there to Merals Pool. We should be done by 4:30PM.

We will be clearing out brush and downed trees, and moving beams into place to prevent erosion. The results will be that boaters will have much closer access to the water, and a much easier put-in.

Please come and join us for a Saturday of work and fun in honor of National Public Lands Day. Bring your closed toe, high top shoes, gloves, long pants and shirt for the work, and swim gear and towel for the swimming fun (we’ll have a raft in the water to play with!)

And… bring your appetite! We will provide lunch and snacks. Changing area and toilets are available. Please send an email to gdvaughn@fs.fed.us to let us know you’re coming, so we can better plan for tools and food! The more the merrier!
