Environmental Inventory

Students and their teachers will be given a summary of flora and fauna that are most common in our park. Students will download the iNaturalist app on their own smartphones, or pair together. If students do not have a smart phone they can use a camera, provided by the park, to document the flora and fauna. They will be working with park rangers and the Centennial Volunteer Ambassador, as well as other park volunteers.

Students and teachers will need to be prepared for outdoor activity, with potential rescheduling for inclement weather.
The park will supply water and snacks.

Students can expect to learn historical information about the park during their service.
