Kaala Ecosystem Restoration Project

We will be controlling invasive weed species at the summit of Ka'ala, the tallest point on the Waianae Mountains.  Volunteers will be using small hand tools, pruners and gloves to help control a variety of weeds in this native cloud forest ecosystem.
Volunteers must complete volunteer applications ahead of time, before signing up for the trip. Contact outreach@oanrp.com to receive a volunteer application. All volunteers must be able to commit to working for the full 9 hrs, as we will be transporting all volunteers in our work vehicles to the volunteer work site.
