Kanab Community Trails Maintenance

Over the last several years, BLM, the City of Kanab, and several local clubs have partnered to build a network of hiking and OHV trails that lead from the city onto the surrounding BLM lands.  Successful projects include Tom’s Canyon Trail, Squaw Trail, Bunting Trail, the Cottonwood Route, K Hill Trail, and the Hog Canyon trail network. These trails are in need of constant maintenance and improvements due to erosion from heavy summer rains and vandalism to trail kiosks and signs. Several trail crews will be organized to complete the trail maintenance work. A lunch will be provided at Jacob Hamblin Park for participants.
