Nature Hike, Invasive Plant Removal, and Trash Pick-up

Come out and learn about the park's bottomland forest and help the park do some necessary invasive plant removal. We will walk the 1,200 foot ADA accessible boardwalk. We will also be removing privet that is growing near the boardwalk trail. And we will pick up any trash along the trail. If planning to help with the invasive plant removal or trash pickup, long pants, gloves, and insect repellant are recommended. Hiking boots should be appropriate for the wooded area along the boardwalk during this dry time of the year. Any footwear is fine if just walking the boardwalk.
