Pitch in for Parks

Pierce County Parks & Recreation invites you to show one of our great public playfields some love. Pitch in for Parks, our drop-in volunteer program, will be removing invasive Himalayan blackberry and Scotch broom in preparation for a future walking trail on the site. Tools and equipment will be provided along with guidance from Jess, our Natural Lands Steward. Please bring work gloves if you have them. Some garden gloves will be available onsite for volunteers to borrow. This is a "rain or shine" event, so please dress for the weather and for working outside. A small snack and water will be provided.
