Plantings for National Public Lands Day

Rain date Sunday, September 25

Lunch and drinks will be provided for registered volunteers.

Friends of Glen Providence Park will plant native trees, shrubs, and perennials at the lovely Kirk Lane entrance to Glen Providence Park in Upper Providence. This project will improve wildlife habitat, help with stormwater runoff, and beautify the park!

To help us plan our time effectively, and to plan for refreshments, we ask that you RSVP for this event at FriendsoftheGlen [AT] gmail [DOT] com - please let us know the number of volunteers in your party.

Additional projects are removing invasive plants in the planting area, and removing trash along the park's trails. Please see our website for details & logistics!

Rain plan: Our rain date is Sunday, September 25 at 9:00am. If the weather is not clear, we will post on our website and Facebook by 8:45am Saturday whether we will use the rain date.
