Virginia State Parks History and Culture

"Hike the Lake Shore trail to the spillway with some of our knowledgeable park staff, and along the way learn about who built the park and when the park was constructed. Even people knowledgeable about the park may learn something new on this hike. Come dressed for the weather. The hike will be over moderate terrain and cover about 2 miles. While you are on the hike, you should be able to enjoy some of the fall foliage that the Blue Ridge Mountains are so famous for.
