Event details

Join us for a day of stewardship at Gold Butte National Monument in southern Nevada. To ensure we provide the public with a memorable recreation experience in our remote part of the eastern Mojave Desert, we will safeguard a popular campsite from expansion and help restore impacted habitat in the surrounding areas.  To improve campers' experience, we will be installing wooden posts to delineate camp areas and minimizing the need for the creation of new sites. And to ensure accelerated and successful recovery of disturbed habitat, we will be making seedballs that will be broadcasted throughout the restoration area.
