On September 26, communities across the country will come together for National Public Lands Day (NPLD), the nation’s largest single-day volunteer effort for public lands.
This year, NEEF is partnering with The Reset, presented by Outward Bound USA, to encourage even more people to step outside, connect, and take part. The partnership is a natural fit. NPLD brings people together to care for parks, trails, waterways, forests, and other public lands, while The Reset encourages young people and families to take a break from screens and make more time for nature and real-world connection.
Together, the two efforts offer a simple invitation for September 26: put down the screen, get outside, and do something meaningful for the places we share. Find an NPLD event near you, Take The Reset Pledge, and join thousands of volunteers nationwide in Caring for Our Shared America.
