Bees, Blooms & Pollination: Kids Ask, Scientists, Answer
Spring is in the air, and it’s the perfect time to discuss bees, pollination, flowers, and pollinators with your little ones! An entomologist from the American Museum of Natural History joined “Orbit: Science for kids on the move!” to answer dozens of kids’ curious questions about bees – what they are, why they sting, why they are attracted to flowers – and pollination – like what happens, parts of the plant, where fruit comes from, and more.
“Orbit” is a science podcast for families with kids ages 3-11, where kids ask and scientists answer! Listen in the car, before bed, or for screen-free fun. This episode is part of an Earth Day collaboration with NEEF and the American Museum of Natural History.
