Event details

To celebrate the 32nd annual National Public Lands Day, the Bureau of Land Management Cottonwood Field Office (CFO) is seeking volunteers to help clean up litter and debris along the beautiful Clearwater River! The CFO is asking volunteers to meet at Cherry Lane Access Site (mile post 20.9) along the US Hwy 12 for a day trip down to Gibbs Eddy Access Site (mile post 16.1). After the clean-up, volunteers are invited to enjoy a BBQ lunch hosted by members of the Clearwater Management Council at McKay's Bend Recreation Site. There is limited space available on the CFO's boats for this fun-filled day, so please contact Rebecca Urbanczyk to reserve your spot before it is too late! If you would like to participate and have your own boat to use, please bring it.
