Zion National Park is celebrating National Public Lands Day with a litter pick-up event!

In 2024, Zion National Park welcomed over 4.9 million visitors. Having that many visitors inevitable "leaves a trace," usually in the form of micro-trash. Micro-trash may include small pieces of litter like bottle caps, the torn off corners of granola bars, orange peels, and small personal items like hair ties. Volunteer with us this National Public Lands Day to keep Zion beautiful!

Volunteers from Utah Tech University will be provided with litter removal supplies such as trash bags, trash grabbers, and disposable gloves.

This event is full and will not be accepting additional volunteers. However, visitors are always welcome to pick up litter along the trails!
