For National Public Lands Day, the Little Rock Air Force Base will host a volunteer event to pick up trash at
the pollinator garden and habitats surrounding the pond at old golf course holes 5 and 6. This event will be
spearheaded by LRAFB 19-CEIEC personnel. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and partner agencies will
have tents set up to teach servicemembers and their families about native bees, native plants, and host an iNaturalist tour
through the pollinator habitat trail to look for milkweeds and monarchs.
