Volunteer Day: Park Office Shelter Handrail Painting  Location: Montgomery Bell State Park - We will meet at the visitor center and walk over to the park office shelter area where we will be painting. Duration: 8 am-10 am - 2 hours Description: Celebrate Public Lands Day by helping improve park infrastructure! Volunteers will spend the day painting the handrails along the park office pavilion stairs. This is a great opportunity to get outside, support your park, and earn volunteer hours. All painting materials will be provided. Volunteers should wear clothes they don't mind getting paint on and closed toed shoes. If you'd like snacks or water during the event, please bring your own. This program qualifies for Tennessee Promise community service hours. We appreciate your help in keeping Montgomery Bell beautiful! All volunteers are required to register. Volunteers under 18 will need to bring a signed parent or guardian consent form. Volunteers under the age of 15 will need a parent or guardian to be present during the duration of the activity.
