National Public Lands Day 2025 will be Saturday, September 27. This is a statewide event that provides unique opportunities for Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers to participate in our largest single day of service. Locations across the state will have MNats and others out helping to make Minnesota a better place!

Friends and family are welcome to participate, but must be registered to participate. Everyone will sign a photo release upon site registration. All participants will receive a free NPLD branded item and a day pass to a national park as a thank you for participating. You can add additional participant names in the comment field.

Registration by September 5th is required to receive a t-shirt. Registration will close on September 19th for participation in the event without a t-shirt.

Volunteers will be conducting invasive plant management with hand tools. Please wear kong sleeves, long pants, and sturdy shoes and please bring a full water bottle. If you have them and can bring them: work gloves, hand pruners and/or hand loppers. (Chainsaws are not permitted for volunteers on Rochester Parks property.)
