Join us for a hands-on conservation adventure as we celebrate National Public Lands Day with a cleanup on the water! We’ll be paddling through the scenic estuary waters of Galveston Bay, removing litter and debris from these vital habitats while enjoying the beauty and tranquility of our public lands.

Whether you’re a nature lover, paddling pro, or just want to make a difference—this is your chance to give back while getting out on the water.

Registration opens 7 days prior—online only

📌 Know Before You Go:

  • Ages 13+ only
  • Close-toed shoes required
  • Paddle approximately 2–3 miles at a relaxed pace
  • Learn about the importance of estuarine health and how marine debris affects local wildlife
  • Celebrate public lands and the community that protects them
  • Expect to get a wet, salty, or muddy—pack accordingly!
  • Suggested weight limit: 250 lbs

✔ Safety + paddling intro
✔ Small group experience (under 17 people)

🌎Cleanup supplies provided! (gloves, trash bags, grabbers, etc.)
