Have you ever wondered what a Forest Service Ranger does? Now is your chance to explore the different jobs of Forest Service Rangers! Come down to the Ward Lake Recreation Area Day Use site on Saturday, September 27th from 10 am until noon. Start by grabbing a National Public Lands Day Passport and head off to each station. A Forest Service Ranger will explain what they do day to day and try a hand at a part of their job. Get your passport stamped at each station. Once your passport is complete, find Ranger Denise and she will give you a special surprise! This is a free family event!
