Collect stray trash along trail and do some light trimming of overgrown vegetation as specified by staff. Bags, gloves and handheld tools will be provided. Volunteers must preregister by Thursday, September 25. Further details will be emailed to registered participants.

Volunteer to help protect this vital park on Saturday, September 27th. The Fairfax County Park Authority is hosting a trail cleanup from 9 am to 11 am along the Cross County Trail where Difficult Run crosses under Georgetown Pike. Volunteers will scout out and collect trash and trim overgrown vegetation as instructed. Bags, gloves and handheld tools will be provided. Use of power tools is not permitted. All registered volunteers please check in with staff at parking lot trailhead upon arrival.
