Event details

Join park rangers at the Carlyle Lake West Spillway Recreation Area to partake in a shoreline clean-up project for National Public Lands Day. National Public Lands Day is an annual celebration dedicated to the care and improvement of public lands across the United States . With the help of volunteers, our goal at the Carlyle Lake Spillway will be to take advantage of the lower water levels and pick-up debris and litter left along the shore. Volunteers can plan to meet rangers at the West Spillway Shelter at 8 AM to begin and must bring closed-toe shoes, gloves, and water bottles!
