This BioDiversity Trip we will celebrate Public Lands Day by visiting Catawba Falls. This hike is located on National Forests land and will allow us to visit the beginning of our drinking water source. Due to the new stairs put in, this will be considered a moderately strenuous hike. As with all our BioDiversity hikes we will have many stops along the way to take in the beauty, talk about what we are seeing, and if needed catch our breath :-) Must be able to walk 4 - 5 miles on uneven terrain. Transportation, a snack and naturalist guides are included. Adult participation required if under 18.
