Douthat Lake is home to some big, beautiful trout. Join a ranger to explore the fascinating world of native fish. We'll take a close look at the unique features that help us identify different fish species found in our lake and streams, learning how to tell a sunfish from a trout or a bass from a carp. Then, step into the shoes of early naturalists and fishermen as we create nature prints using rubber fish models and paint; it's a fun and artistic way to record the details of these incredible animals. This hands-on program blends science, art, and history, helping us connect more deeply with the natural world. Great for families, kids, and curious minds of all ages.
