Tombigbee State Park is participating in National Public Lands Day on September 27, 2025 to actively engage in park beautification projects.  The following projects are what we plan to focus on with the help of all volunteers that can help: 1) Clean up bike trails/remove fallen trees off of trails, 2) Clean up Disc Golf Trails, 3) Sanding/repainting playground equipment. Supplies will already be on site, but volunteers may bring their own equipment. All volunteers can meet in the Overflow Parking Lot near the Lodge at 9am by blue canopy. Water sources will be provided for each project team, as well as a light snack. This a great opportunity to show your support to your community and local State Parks to keep them beautiful for all present and future campers to experience.
