Shoreline Cleanup
Shoreline clean up at Flat Rock Park in Waco, TX with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and GTG Outdoors. Volunteers needed to remove trash from the shoreline and surrounding area by kayak or on foot. Supplies are provided, but kayaks are first come, first served.

Join the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and GTG Outdoors for a hands-on cleanup effort at Flat Rock Park in Waco, TX, where we’ll work together to remove trash from both the shoreline and surrounding wildlife management areas. Volunteers can choose to paddle out in kayaks or help on foot, making an impact across this heavily impacted area. We’ll kick off in the morning to beat the heat, with all necessary supplies provided; including life jackets, gloves, and cleanup tools. Kayaks are limited to first come, first serve- but feel free to bring your own! Be sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and bug spray.
