Event details

The Sand Flats Recreation Area is a jointly managed (BLM and Grand County, Utah) 9,000 acre area immediately adjoining the City of Moab.  The Sand Flats Recreation is home to the Slickrock Bike Trail, the Raptor Route bike trails, nine campgrounds, Hells Revenge and Fins and Things Jeep Safari Trails and all types of recreation activity.  The area receives approximately 300,000 visitors per year, and NPLD is the time to do a quick clean up.  Clean ups consist of trash pickup, track rake-outs and putting the spit and polish on a myriad of recreational facilities.  As an extra bonus, volunteers earn their yearly Sand Flats Recreation Area Pass.
