El Malpais NCA - Fence & Trail Restoration
Join the Bureau of Land Management for National Public Lands Day and to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary by volunteering at El Malpais National Conservation Area! Volunteers at this event can choose between repairing fences at Cebolla Canyon or assisting with maintenance on the Narrows Rim Trail. No prior experience is necessary; your enthusiasm and willingness to contribute are all that is required.

The Activity: You have a choice between fixing fences at Cebolla Canyon or working on trail maintenance on the Narrows Rim Trail. No experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to make a difference.

Where to Meet: We will gather at the Ranger Station (906 NM-117, Grants, NM 87020) and then travel together to designated locations.
