Join us at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie to celebrate National Public Lands Day. Choose from several different volunteer projects, and as Woodsy Owl says, "Lend a Hand and Care for the Land". Event details

Choose from several different volunteer projects at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie and take part in National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 26th. Check-in will be begin at 8:30am at the River Road Seedbeds area near the River Road Parking Lot. Volunteer projects include seed harvest, brush cutting, and sign installation. Check-in and a brief introduction will take place before our projects begin at 9am. Work will conclude at 12pm, followed by a picnic lunch and volunteer recognition at the seedbed picnic tables.
