Event details

Take a step back in time at Elden Pueblo. Learn about ancient technologies and how archaeologists interpret the past through artifact analysis, excavations and architecture. Tours at 10 am, noon and 2 pm, with displays, hunting games and interpretive excavations throughout the day. See how the people used natural materials to create tools, baskets, clothing, food and shelter. Try your hand with an atl-atl or experience excavations in the trenches, to uncover the secrets of the past. Help build a Pueblo 2 wall or water the native garden. Bring hat, water, sunscreen and your sense of adventure.

This is a drop-in event- free to all . No registration needed.
