Join the saint Croix Island International Historic Site community for a celebration of public lands on September 16th, 2026, from 10am to 2pm. 

The Historic Site is located within the present and traditional homeland of the Passamaquoddy Tribe. Since time immemorial, Native American peoples have inhabited the land now called Maine. Saint Croix Island International Historic Site continues to be a place of enduring and immeasurable importance to the Passamaquoddy. We acknowledge the Passamaquoddy on whose ancestral land we now gather is a distinct, sovereign, legal, and political entity with their own powers of self-governance and self-determination.

We will be doing a general park cleaning up and re-stain the visitor center to help protect it during our winters.
