Highline Trail Work with Wild Arizona
Come enjoy a trails work day with Wild Arizona and the USFS, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Clifton Ranger District Recreation Staff maintain the beautiful Highline trail.

Event details

After a brief safety talk, we'll hike to the project site about a mile up the trail. The work will include brush removal, sign repair, and tread work. We will hike back to the trailhead. We will be doing a combination of Logouts, tread-work and brushing to maintain access trail. Come join us! Good portions of the trail are shaded, so even in the summer, it should be pretty nice.

What to bring:

Water bottles or hydration packs

Lunch & Salty Snacks

Weather appropriate clothing (long-sleeve shirt & long pants)

Trail shoes or hiking boots (closed-toe shoes are mandatory)

A backpack

 

Wild Arizona will provide:

All necessary tools

Protective equipment (hardhats, gloves, eyewear)

Snacks & stickers!
