This will be an in-person event, meeting safety guidelines stated in the public lands. This event will be in partnership with the Lassen Lands and Trails Trust, also Lassen County.  Work will consist of low-intensity site and trail beautification and maintenance.  Volunteers will be organized into groups of 10 people or less and assigned tasks at one of the following locations:  Historic Railroad Depot, Susanville Trail-head or Hobo Camp. Tasks will include, surface painting of gates and signs, trail maintenance, deck staining of bridges, trash removal, pine needle removal, pruning and small engine equipment use.  The BLM will also provide PPE, restroom facilities and hand sanitizer at each work location.  Please plan accordingly by wearing layered clothing, hats, good work clothing, sunscreen, and sunglasses (eye protection). Work gloves will be provided.
