Join us in celebrating Latino Conservation Week! Latino Conservation Week was created to support the Latino community getting into the outdoors and participating in activities to protect our natural resources.
At this event you will find local organizations that work towards providing Latino families and youth with outdoors recreation opportunities near their home. You will also learn about the work of Latino Conservationist and their commitment to preserving public lands for all.
If you are feeling motivated to help with conservation, the Friends of Mount Vernon Trail is hosting a clean-up in honor of Latino Conservation Week. For more information on how to participate, please use this link.
For this event, registration is not required. We hope to see you at Theodore Roosevelt Island.
