Amboy Community clean up
Join a focused 6-8 person volunteer crew to remove trash and discarded tires along Route 66 and nearby Mojave Trails National Monument lands. Cleanup locations will be identified in advance and assigned to volunteers. This effort will also help assess a model for future cleanups elsewhere in the monument.

Event details
The planned event is a small volunteer clean up effort in the Amboy are of the Mojave Trails National Monument, organized by Steven Reyes. It is intended to run from 0800 to 1200 on 7 Nov 2026 and involve 6-8 volunteers who will clean up trash and discarded tires along Route 66 and surrounding monument lands. San Bernadino County public works is supporting the effort by providing dumpsters-designated for trash and another for tires.
