Join park staff and local enthusiasts in collecting species data for Gold Head Branch State Park. A bioblitz is a “communal effort to record as many species within a designated location and time period as possible.” We will be using the app iNaturalist to gather and upload photo records of species within the park. Photos may be uploaded live or upon arrival to a location with sufficient service. A staff member will be available during the posted event time to assist participants. 

To prepare for the event: Please download the iNaturalist app and create an account before arrival as cell signal may be spotty in the park. You can join the bioblitz project in the app by using the link provided or searching for Gold Head Bioblitz. Familiarizing yourself with the app ahead of time will help speed up the process for you the day of the event.
