The Swiftwater Trailhead is the start of the 79-mile long North Umpqua Trail. The parking area, picnic location and trail loop out to Deadline Falls is in need of maintenance, brushing, weeding and trail tread repair. Additionally, the bridge across the river and the Day Use Area at Swiftwater is in need of clean up and general maintenance. Work activities could include general cleanup, restoration, graffiti removal, weeding, brushing, limbing, trail tread restoration. Tools, gloves and basic Personal Protective equipment (gloves, eye protection, hearing protection) will be provided. Please come with sturdy closed toed shoes, long pants and a long sleeve shirt to protect from brush and poison oak. Participants should plan to bring a water bottle. Water will also be available on site.
