Join rangers for a day celebrating baseball in the Blackstone Valley!

Walking Tour of Berkeley
11 AM-12 PM: 30 Martin Street, Cumberland, RI. 
Join a ranger for a guided walk through Berkeley, a Cumberland mill village. Discover how this village has adapted to change and continued to foster and strengthen community. Meet in front of the Berkeley Mill complex. Limited free parking is available at the Berkeley Oval just down the road.

Inaugural Home Run Derby & Barnstorm Day at Kelly House
1 PM-3 PM: Blackstone River State Park (1075 Lower River Road, Lincoln, RI). 
Take part in a Blackstone Valley tradition! Join a mill village team (Ashton All Stars or Berkeley Bobbins) and take part in a home run derby out in the field. Drop into the barn for activities and to learn more about local teams and the longstanding ties between baseball and industrial history. Don't miss the ranger talk on "Baseball in the Blackstone Valley" at 1 PM. Suitable for all ages.
