Join Sailor's Creek State Park for National Public Lands Day, the nation's largest single-day volunteer event for public lands! Help us give back to the park through hands-on stewardship activities such as litter cleanup, trail maintenance, and other improvement projects. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome. The park will provide safety vests, gloves, and trash collection materials. Volunteers are advised to bring drinking water (we have a water bottle filling station on site), snacks, comfortable closed-toe shoes, layered clothing, bug spray and sunscreen. This is a weather dependent activity and will be cancelled if adverse weather conditions occur. Participants must register for this event by September 12.
