From Trail to Shore Cleanup and More!
Are you looking to connect with your community while enhancing the natural beauty of your local state park? Join us for the nation's largest volunteer effort for public lands and works! Meet us as the parking area near Murphy Hall where we will discuss our plan for the day and gather supplies. We will be cleaning up rock spring pond, a portion of Laurel Point, and Beach Trail in addition to our Day Use Beach area. We will be hiking roughly 1 mile, make sure to wear closed toe shoes and appropriate clothing for volunteer work. Please bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, and any other items you may want to make your day comfortable. We will provide gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags. After the cleanup, hangout and join us to turn our recycled materials into a beautiful piece of art!
