Stewardship Saturday, Chain O'Lakes State Park
Help us recognize National Public Lands Day, the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer event dedicated to public lands! Meet at the Stanley Schoolhouse and we’ll head out together to a habitat improvement project in the park. Tasks may include litter pickup, vegetation management, or other stewardship activities to maintain healthy natural communities. The specific project may vary based on conditions and staffing needs that day. Tools will be provided, but you may want to bring gloves. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Great for families, groups, and anyone who wants to give back to the land!
