Event details

Celebrate National Public Lands Day by volunteering with the Champaign County Forest Preserves! Volunteers will help our natural resources staff collect seeds from native plants to support ongoing restoration efforts across the Forest Preserves.

All tools and collection materials will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, have covered ankles, and dress for the weather. Bring a water bottle and be prepared to walk through tall vegetation.  All experience levels and ages are welcome.
