NPLD Hart Bat Project
LAKEVIEW, Ore. — On Friday, September 27, 2026 the Bureau of Land Management's (BLMs) Lakeview District Office is hosting a National Public Lands Day event at Hart Bar Recreation Site near Clover from 10 m. to 2 p.m. This year's project will plant seeds and finish up an ADA accessible site .

Volunteers may meet at the Lakeview Field Office at 9:30 a.m. or the Klamath Falls Field Office at 8 a.m. and carpool to the work site. Parking is available at the recreation site. Bring sunscreen, snacks or lunch to sustain you for the day, water, a hat, leather gloves, eye protection, and sturdy shoes. Long sleeves and pants are highly recommended. Tools will be provided.

National Public Lands Day is the perfect hands-on opportunity to experience what the nation's public lands offer. Everyone is welcome to help restore, beautify, and improve the outdoor spaces and recreation areas we all benefit from and enjoy.
