910 Ranch Restoration: Join Summit County's Lands & Natural Resources Department at the 910 Ranch for a hands-on day of stewardship and community connection! We will be doing a variety of restoration activities, including, but not limited to: repairing beaver dam analogs (BDAs), pulling weeds and fixing fences on a tributary of East Canyon Creek. This restoration project will help improve wildlife habitat and help restore the riparian corridor.

What to Bring & Wear: We recommend wearing long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy closed-toe shoes or muck boots. Please bring sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), water and snacks, and layers in case of changing weather. Please leave dogs at home.

What to Expect: We will provide gloves, tools, and instruction. The project may involve walking up to 2 miles over uneven, often muddy terrain, with the possibility of stream crossings. You will be working in or near water.

Location: You will meet L&NR staff at the 910 Ranch. Meeting location and parking details will be provided in a confirmation email upon registration. Please carpool or take alternative modes of transportation, if possible.
