Celebrate this nationwide event with us by volunteering in the historic gardens! National Public Lands Day began in 1994 and remains the nation's largest single-day volunteer effort. All are welcome to join us for a morning of cleaning up the garden beds - you don't need a green thumb to pull weeds!

Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the volunteer event. Scout troops, corporate volunteers, and other groups are welcome! Volunteers not currently registered with Florida State Parks may sign a Short-Term Volunteer Agreement for the duration of the event. Please arrive to the park to sign paperwork by 8:30 AM if you are not a registered FPS volunteer. The project will begin by 9 AM.

Please arrive wearing closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing that can get dirtied. We also recommend gloves, a water bottle, insect repellant, and sun protection. All tools will be provided by the park.

Park admission fees will be waived for participating volunteers. After the program, volunteers are welcome to explore the park!
