Join DCBIA, the Friends of Anacostia Park, and NPS for a community improvement day consisting of building an outdoor classroom, sprucing up an indoor classroom, fixing up a large-scale map of the US, and cleaning up the area at Anacostia Park! The meeting location is 1500 Anacostia Drive SE and tree shifts are available:
- 7:30am-5:00pm
- 7:30am-12pm
- 12pm-5pm
All supplies and instruction will be provided. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, pants, and bring water.
