Clean Up the Everglades at the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge
Help us keep our National Wildlife Refuge beautiful by helping us pick up litter and trash. The Refuge is home to alligators, deer, bobcats, over 250 species of birds, and more! The Refuge serves as their home but is also an important part of the Everglades ecosystem.

There are two locations to cover more ground. Pick the location closest to you, and make your reservation by emailing the contact listed below.

Clean-Up Location 1: Headquarters Area (Boynton Beach, FL) The Headquarters Area includes the Visitor Center, boat launches, and parking areas along Lee Road in Boynton Beach, FL.

Clean-Up Location 2: Hillsboro Area (Boca Raton, FL) The Hillsboro Area includes the boat launch area, shoreline, and surrounding parking areas at the end of Loxahatchee Road in Boca Raton, FL.

Email catherine@loxahatcheefriends.com for more information or to register your group. Include the location you would like to work in and how many people will be working in your group. 

All participants will be asked to signed a volunteer agreement and be provided with safety equipment such as gloves, trash pickers, hand sanitizer, etc. A portable toilet is located at both Loxahatchee Road and 20 mile bend. The only indoor facility at the Headquarters area. A water station with ice will be provided at each station as well as disposable cup. Participants are encouraged to bring their own re-useable water bottle.
