On September 27, 2025, the Big Ridge team
will be cleaning up the banks around park property and some of the islands bordering
the park. We will be leaving from Blue Mud Boat Launch by kayak. There will
also be other cleanups around the lake on the same day. For more information,

If you a have canoe or kayak, you are welcome to bring it.
Life jackets will be required.
Bags will be provided by the Tennessee Valley Authority at all
the locations. Participants are encouraged to bring gloves and wear tennis
shoes, boots, or other shoes with tread.  The lake banks will be muddy so
please wear appropriate footwear. Each participant will receive a free
T-shirt.
